The Illuminati was founded by Adam Weishaupt in Bavaria, Germany in 1776. After becomming a Freemason in 1777, he incorporated his Illuminati into Freemasonry, and began to spread illuminism throughout Europe. After some of his writtings were intercepted by authorities in 1784 , Weishaupt went into exile; writting numerous works on the illuminati untill his death in 1802. So,does the Illuminati still exist,or did it share the fate of its founder? According to Weishaupt , the goal of the Illuminati was to do away with the monarchies and state religions of Europe . The Freemasons were used as a trojan horse to spread the teachings and accomplish the goals of illuminism throughout the unsuspecting world. The freemasons were involved in both The American and The French Revolutions and The American Civil War. Do you think that the Freemasons are continuing the spread of Illuminism today?
