The American Dream

There is something wrong with America today and I can't put my finger on it . We are supposed to be the greatest nation on Earth ,but what great nation would allow it's citizens to be unemployed and homeless , all while boasting about " our prosperity" ?  That prosperity that is referred to, only describes five -ten percent of the nation, so what about the rest of us ? The rest of us are only necessary in order to keep the machine moving . We are given just enough to keep us dependent on the same system that keeps us in chains for their personal gain ; and as our " elected officials " continue to ignore our needs, the chances of us sharing the "American Dream" will always remain just that .........A Dream!!!!!
